In the middle of the Himalayas, close to the well-known tourist attraction of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, is Bir-Billing, a paragliding location. Aerial sports are what make Bir Billing famous. The months of March through May and October through November have the best paragliding weather. Billing, which is well-known for having a Tibetan colony and a number of Buddhist monasteries that are really worth visiting, Billing offers a panoramic view of the valley below. In Bir Billing, there are countless things to do that can’t be experienced in a single day or two. Mountain biking, trekking, rappelling, paragliding, monasteries, etc. Bir can be visited twice a year, from late September to early November and from March to May. The best months to go paragliding in Bir are those mentioned above. The summers during the months of April to June are pleasant.

Bir, popularly known as the "Paragliding Capital of India," is a well-known location for ecotourism, spiritual research, and meditation. Bir also has a Tibetan refugee community that includes a number of Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa.

Bir Billing is at the top of every adventure seeker's wish list because it is the ideal location to enjoy this aviation sport. The best months for this sport are considered to be March to May and October to November since the weather is ideal for paragliding during these seasons.

The takeoff location, Billing, is a settlement that you must travel through on your paragliding flight. It is located 14 kilometers from Bir. This location is a great place to relax for a while and take in the eye-soothing view of the surroundings because it is nestled among the sparkling suburbs of the fantastic mountains, flora and fauna.

You must make a short hike to get to the waterfall, which is located 4.5 kilometers from the Tibetan Colony.

The Chokling Monastery is situated in Bir and is the epitome of beauty and cultural liveliness. You will undoubtedly be mesmerized after a brief visit inside the monastery's grounds, which will only increase your desire to leave the city and settle here among the serene surroundings.

For Bir, there are frequent bus services that run every day. You can travel there by taking shared taxis or cabs on the same road from locations like Shimla or Dharamshala. Bir is almost 50 kilometers away from Dharamshala, and Shimla is about 210 kilometers away.

Itinerary

  • 03:00 PM: Arrive at the campsite, check in.
  • 04:00 PM: Tent Allocation
  • 04:15 PM: Tea time with snacks.
  • 05:00 PM: Take a quick trail to the nearby village.
  • 07:00 PM: Enjoy a warm bonfire session while gazing up at the night sky filled with stars.
  • 09:30 PM: Dinner Veg/Non-Veg.
  • Wake up early for yoga, meditation or a walk around.
  • 09:00 AM: Tea and breakfast
  • 10:00 AM: Head back home with happy memories only to come back camping with us again.

No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However -

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

I acknowledge that this activity is an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, guides, event officials, event monitors and/or producers of the event; lack of hydration, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event.I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL) form will be used by RAW Escapades, their partners and the sponsors of the event in which I may participate and it will govern my actions and responsibilities at the event.In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this event, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Raw Escapades, Their partners, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns.This AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under the applicable law.I hereby certify that I have read this document and I understand its content
