Kolad is a great option for a quick weekend getaway from Mumbai or Pune. 

Kolad River Rafting in the Kundalika River started a few years ago, and now it is a year-round activity. It is the only rafting facility in India to be operational all-round the year. 

Kolad White Water Rafting in the Kundalika River. Kolad is controlled by the release of the Rawalje Dam water on the Kundalika River and offers Grade II and Grade III rapids. The higher the grade, the higher the level of difficulty.

  • By Train from Mumbai
    • Daily passenger trains from Dadar Terminus and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus depart for Kolad. 
  • By Bus from Mumbai
    • Frequent State Transport buses are available from Mumbai towards Goa. You have to get down at Kolad, which is on the Mumbai-Goa Highway NH-17 > 1 KM South of Kolad Naka, take a left towards Pune > Pass by MIDC to your right, stay on SH60 > On the Vile route, take a left towards Khopoli > turn left to Saje village > Reached.

Itinerary

  • 04:00 PM: Check in at the campsite.
  • 04:10 PM: Tent allocation.
  • 04:15 PM: High tea and snacks.
  • 04:30 PM: Indulge yourself in outdoor activities like kayaking, river crossing, Zipline (Optional)
  • 06:30 PM: Enjoy the amazing view of the sunset from our campsite.
  • 07:00 PM: It’s time for some lip-smacking barbecue. (optional)
  • 09:30 PM: Dinner – Veg/Non-Veg.
  • 06:30 AM: Wake up early for yoga, meditation or stroll around the property. 
  • 08:00 AM: Check in to the rafting location.
  • 09.00 AM: White Water Rafting on the River Kundalika
  • 01:00 PM: Lunch (Veg/non Veg) – optional.
  • 02:00 PM: Head back home with happy memories only to come back camping with us again.

No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However -

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

I acknowledge that this activity is an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, guides, event officials, event monitors and/or producers of the event; lack of hydration, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event.I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL) form will be used by RAW Escapades, their partners and the sponsors of the event in which I may participate and it will govern my actions and responsibilities at the event.In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this event, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Raw Escapades, Their partners, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns.This AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under the applicable law.I hereby certify that I have read this document and I understand its content
