We begin this journey in Jibhi where you’ll have a chance to get to know your fellow travellers. From there you’ll begin what is sure to be the escapade of a lifetime as we explore Jibhi. Moving on, the scenic beauty of Kinnaur Valley will take your breath away and you will end the night at Chitkul which is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border. Find yourself in awe of the sights around you as the journey progresses towards Kalpa. On your way to Kaza you’ll be smitten by the view of the Leo Purygal Peak and gaze upon the Malling Nallah. You will now have truly entered Spiti Valley and the sights only get more and more miraculous from here. You’ll have the chance to visit the world’s highest post office as well as the highest village connected by motorable road. You’ll also have the chance to get truly raw as you camp out under the stars along Chandratal. The last leg of this journey will be a long and scenic ride to Manali

A panoramic, magical and wondrous village in the old Himalayan region, Jibhi is situated on the banks of the sparkling Tirthan river. The fine architecture and beautiful views that the village has an offer for its visitors are remarkably flawless. The houses in this old village are built of stone and wood, with a large number of apple orchards and Galgal trees embracing them as a backdrop.

Himachal Pradesh is popularly referred as 'Dev Bhoomi' or 'Land of the Gods'. The Bhimakali Temple is a grand 'tower temple', its majestic twin towers being its most defining feature

At the heart of Kinnaur is Sangla valley. It offers a delight of greenery and evergreen mountains before you enter the Great Spiti Valley.

Chitkul, on the banks of Baspa River, is the first village of the Baspa Valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. It is also the last point in India one can travel to without a permit.

12,014 feet above sea level, Nako Lake offers a glimpse into the realm of lakes of l-limalayas. The reflection of trees and snowclad mountains on this peaceful lake will briefing you to a stillness.

Mummy of Sangha Tenzin, a 500-year-old self-mummified tomb is one of the greatest attractions of the world. It is said that Sangha Tenzin Self mummified himself to save the town from being attacked by scorpions

The temples within the monastery complex in Tabo have a plethora of wall paintings and mud statues. Dalai Lama has expressed his desire to retire to Tabo Monastery, It is said to be a thousand years old and is considered as one of the holiest places in Buddhism

Itinerary

Board the Volvo from Delhi/Chandigarh.

Overnight Bus journey to Aut tunnel

  • Reach Aut Tunnel and Pick up and Drop till Jibhi.
  • Check in to your hotel and Rest. Evening Explore Jibhi Waterfall and Nearby village or Relax and enjoy leisure time.
  • Overnight stay at Jibhi
  • Post breakfast check out and start for the trip Passing through Shoja and Jalori Pass on the way with an amazing view of the valley and rivers.
  • Enroute Kinnaur region and drive though the crazy roads along the river Sutlej.
  • Enter Sangla and reach last village on the Indo Tibetan Border Chitkul Overnight stay at the hotel with star gazing
  • Wake up breathing the cleanest air in India. Post breakfast, explore the nearby village.
  • Visit Hindustan Ka Akhri Dhaba.
  • Post lunch leave for Kalpa, a village with great spiritual importance. It is tucked in the base of the Kinnar Kailash ranges.
  • Wake up to the beautiful sunrise view from snow-clad peaks.
  • Post breakfast leave for Tabo.
  • Stop at Nako on the way to enjoy the winding roads and view of the valley.
  • Visit Gue Monastery to meet Great Sangha Tenzin.
  • A monk who self-mummified to save the great village of Gue from scorpions. The mummy is dated 500 years old and is the only self-mummification anomaly found in India.
  • Reach the beautiful homestay with Apricot orchards and Enjoy the rest of the evening and stargazing nights
  • Post Breakfast Visit the Tabo Monastery where you can see the Lamas and local culture.
  • Leave for Kaza and Visit Dhankar Monastery and Gompa that is surrounded by a lunar landscape.
  • Post lunch leave for Pin Valley and visit the Last Village ‘Mud’.
  • Reach Kaza Camps and rest. Enjoy a delicious meal under the starry night by the campfire surrounded by the mountains of this cold desert.
  • Now you wake up in the heart of Spiti Valley, Kaza. Post breakfast visit Spiti Valleys largest monastery, Key Monastery, Hikkim – World’s highest post office, Komik – World’s highest restaurant and Langza – Largest Budhha idol in Spiti overlooking the Pin and Zanskar Valley.

P.S: You can post someone a letter from this post office before 4.00 pm to your loved ones from the highest post office in the world; at Komik.

  • Gear up for the drive to the mighty Chandrataal Lake. This bumpy ride will give you a sight of true off-roading and the most unexplored sections of Spiti valley. Camp at Chandrataal lake and embark in the beauty of Himalayas.
  • Visit Chicham bridge- Asia’s highest Bridge.
  • Passing Kunzum Pass at the Altitude of 4590 mtrs. Reach Chandrataal Camps.
  • Post Breakfast you start the last leg of your journey.
  •  Visit the Holy Chandrataal Lake and Enjoy the blue waters and beautiful sunrise.
  • Today you travel from Chandrataal to Manali.
  • Reach Manali by afternoon and to amazing Journey with unforgettable memories.

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  •  In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed. Had a wonderful time exploring spiti valley. Didn't know a place like this existed before. Raw escapades made sure we had a comfortable stay and journey. Enjoyed the ride from Kaza to Manali.
