Leh, rightly called the Mecca of riders, was originally a stop for trading caravans. It is one of the toughest and highest motorable roads in the world and truly an unforgettable experience for any biking enthusiast. Gear up for some adrenaline rush coupled with majestic scenic beauty.

This Leh-Ladakh motorcycle expedition 2019 is organised and managed by RAW Escapades. Our experienced road captains and trip designers will help you experience an adventure like no other. From crossing Rohtang La pass to watching the sunrise in Pir Panjal, this ride is a treat for the eyes. The blue waters of Deepak Tal , Suraj Tal  and the turquoise Pangong Lake are sights to behold.

Ladakh and its terrain is natural beauty in its most raw form. And we will let you thoroughly soak that in. Enjoy campfires and stay in tents while our ride captain takes care of the rest. Your rider dreams are about to come true!

Tour Plan

1
Day 1 Arrival at Delhi
Today, we start our dream trip! You’ll be meeting our representative in Delhi at the bus pickup point. We travel overnight in an AC Volvo from Delhi to Manali. Tomorrow, you’ll wake up to the fresh lush greens and mesmerizing mountains in the Land of Gods - Himachal Pradesh.

Day 2 Stay in Manali
Upon arrival in Manali, we check in to our hotels and gear up for exploring the beautiful city! In the evening, our tour manager will brief you about the various safety measures, riding tips, and gear checkups. The group would have an opportunity to get acquainted with the fellow riders at dinner time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Manali To Jispa
After Breakfast, we will start our Ladakh bike trip journey! We will ride across our first pass - the Rohtang Pass at 13,058ft. as we continue our journey towards Jispa. We will ride for an approximate 140Kms via Chandra Valley before we reach our destination. Overnight stay at our campsite in Jispa.

Day 4 Jispa To Sarchu
Today’s ride will be a short one of 80 km. Enroute Sarchu, we will visit Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal. We will also cross the famous Baralacha Pass located at 16,616ft. which connects Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir. Upon arrival, we would settle down in our campsite taking in the beauty of our starting point in Ladakh and revamp for our ride tomorrow.

Day 5 Sarchu to Leh
After breakfast, we will start our ride towards Leh. This route will give you a mesmerizing view of the landscape of this beautiful cold desert which leaves one spellbound. Upon arrival, we settle down in the Hotel and the evening is left free up to our own disposal to explore the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Leh to Nubra Valley
Today, we will ride past the highest accessible motorable pass in the world – Khardung La at 18,380 ft. We would witness the change of landscape as we keep proceeding on this route. We will be visiting the Diskit Monastery. You can also take a ride on the Double humped camels in the valley. Today, we will be staying in a Campsite amidst the Beautiful Mountains.

Day 7 Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso
We begin our ride towards the spellbinding Pangong Tso post breakfast taking the unexplored and untouched Shyok village route. This route is famous for its waterfalls, and the beautiful scenic view. The first view of the lake will leave you in a state of awe and as we breathe that in, we continue towards our campsite near the lake. A sumptuous dinner with a chit-chat session would bring an end to the day.

Day 8 Pangong Tso To Hanle (5 to 6 hour Journey)
After breakfast, we start our ride to the remote location of Hanle that inhabits a mere 200 families. The village has recently been opened for tourists and travellers.  For 30 Kms, we would ride along the ink blue water of the Pangong Tso. The journey will make us witness a fun filled offroading journey taking us through Maan, Merak, and Chushul. We will stop at the Rezang-La 1962 Indo-China War Memorial to pay homage to the Martyrs and continue our ride. We will also see the world's second largest observatory. The night sky view in Hanle seems almost unreal as one can see the Galaxy with naked eyes. We sum up the day after a hearty meal and retreat in the cozy homestay.

Day 9 Hanle To Tsomoriri
We will retrace the ride till Puga Sumdo before taking a left towards Tsomoriri. Puga gives us beautiful views of the hot water springs there making one realize the untapped beauty of mother nature. We see the landscapes change throughout the ride before reaching the lake. Overnight stay at the Campsite/hotel.

Day 10 Tso Moriri To Sarchu
Today, we ride through the longest journey of our trip. Enroute, we will visit the Tsokar lake (salted lake), Mori plains (a 50 Km straight roads amidst the mountains), Gata loops (the famous 21 hair pin bends), Lachungla (a beautiful pass located at 16,600ft) and the Nakila (15,548ft). We wrap up today's thrilling ride and gear up for Day 9. Overnight stay at the campsite/hotel.

Day 11 Sarchu to Manali
Begin our day to head towards Manali after an early breakfast, to get ready for the last day of this memorable bike trip. Enjoying every bit of it we conclude our trip in Manali where we drop off our bikes at the hotel and venture out to visit the local places and cafes. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12: Departure
We leave for Delhi today via an overnight Volvo bus, taking with us memories worth a lifetime and friendships to cherish forever!

Confirmation Policy

    • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
    • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
  • Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy

    • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
  • If cancellations are made 60 days before the start date of the trip, 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Advisory The advisable maximum size of baggage should not exceed 60 liters. Remember that you have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle and into the accommodation. Any damage caused to the bike because of mishandling by the rider, the cost for it will be borne by the traveler In case of changes in permit costs, the difference for the same will be payable by the traveler at the beginning of the trip Gst is applicable on the above tour cost All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees are excluded from the package cost Lunch throughout the tour & meals during the Bus journey will be on the traveler Traveler takes care of all the International / Domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance coer Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees etc& any other item not specifically mentioned in the inclusion labels In case of extension of a tour is required, the clients can directly contact Thrillophilia Person bringing his own bike has to report at Manali. Wear riding shoes till your ankle Climatic conditions in the high altitudes contrast from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatised to high altitudes. While riding, tuck-in your tracks into the socks to avoid hindrance. Wear double layered socks to avoid dust, mud, and infections during the trek. Do not wear tight-fitted clothes as they might hinder with your movement during the ride. Do not carry valuables like jewellery or expensive electronics. Wear proper protective headgear that fits perfectly along with eyewear and mouth protection wear to avoid the glare of the sun, dust, and wind. Consult with a physician if you are fit to undertake the long bike ride. The ride takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not litter the local sites or campsites.\ Consumption of alcohol/drugs and smoking during the bike ride is strictly prohibited Usages of plastic bags are strictly prohibited during the ride. Any damage to bike during the tour would be payable by guest directly. Please bring your own USB Pendrive of 32 GB for videos and images. Children are not allowed on bike trips, only people above the age of 18 and holders of proper licenses
